Alicia Blankenship, CFO

Alicia Blankenship, MSW, LCSW, is the owner of Symbrium, Inc. and serves as its Chief Financial Officer overseeing all business transactions and accounting functions.  Alicia has a parallel career as a licensed clinical psycho-therapist helping traumatized children and adolescents. She works closely with private and governmental agencies providing forensic assessment and rehabilitative counseling in matters of child abuse and neglect.

Dr. Wes Blankenship, CEO

Wes Blankenship, Ph.D., P.E. has worked in nearly all areas of the powertrain industry during a career that has spanned for more than 40 years.   Dr. Blankenship started his career at General Motors Powertrain Division rising to the level of an R&D manager, then moved on to Danaher Corporation where he was President of an ultra-precision gear metrology and motion division.  He then took over the reins of a small automotive controls systems integration firm growing that from a handful of engineers and support staff to a multi-disciplinary company employing more than 200 professionals serving diverse industries. He is a product of The Ohio State University Gear Dynamics and Gear Noise Research Laboratory where he graduated summa cum laude with distinction in Mechanical Engineering having written all of his theses on gear and geared rotor dynamics related topics.  He has paved the way for numerous breakthroughs in powertrain laboratory and production based testing and gauging solutions resulting in many published works, proprietary designs and patents.  Today he spends most of his time coming up with new machine concepts and measurement techniques while inspiring the young and talented engineering team at Symbrium to create innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Seth Thompson, Director of Software Development

Seth Thompson, BSCE, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Computer Engineering and has been an active .Net developer since 2005.  He is in charge of corporate software development and oversees the Factory Systems platform strategy for a comprehensive portfolio of enterprise production and quality data management and visibility software.  Seth is a loving husband and father to two wonderful sons and a daughter.  He served as a deacon with Gantt Street Baptist Church and volunteers as often as possible in the activities there.
